Oh my GAWD!  A three whole minute discrepancy in the crash time of Flight 93.  Because "they don't want us to know what happened in the last three minutes."  Well, truthfully, I don't want to know what happened in the last three minutes.

Even if they were all fucking like bunnies?

Got my first taste of quantum conspiracy - the theory of everything our evil overlords don't want us to know - in the middle 70s when a friend looked both ways before passing me the samizdat Holy Grail of its day; The Gemstone Files*. Mimeographed, dogeared and pencil annotated, it didn't miss a beat between the JFK assasination, the Trilateral Commission and the Federal Reserve. Is it true? Who cares? Runs neck and neck with trashy novels but still beats tv.

(*I rediscovered it in a newsgroup 25 years ago, 'case anyone's interested)

Actor Ed Asner, former Dallas Cowboy Mark Stepnoski, and formerly famous hip hop group Arrested Development are leading a petition drive to get a referendum on New York City’s November ballot that would establish a new 9/11 investigation.

Hell, with authorities like these, I'm surprised the NY city council hasn't just buckled under already.

It is a shame these stories are so easily debunked by their fucknut messengers. Perfect crimes happen every day and some of them make terrific stories. Here are two, both local.

Big Bucks: The True, Outrageous Story of the Plymouth Mail Robbery and How They Got Away With It, by Ernest Tidyman.

At the End of Day, by George V. Higgins [Whitey Bulger, et al. Ten times better than Departed. The story, completed weeks before Higgins croaked at 60, coincidentally ends 2 blocks from here.]

Smaller-scale conspiracies?  Sure, I'm well aware that such things go on all the time...and even the small ones always seem to come to light eventually.  Somebody always talks.

But a conspiracy on the scale of orchestrating the 9/11 attacks?  Or assassinating JFK, or hiding evidence of space aliens?  I'm not buying.  There would have to be thousands, or tens of thousands, of people involved.  And the years go by, and not one of them talks?  Somebody ALWAYS talks.
