A couple months ago, I never would have believed Obama had the hockey vote sewn up.

It happened in Philly, they boo everyone in Philly. If Obama showed up and announced that we was donating all the money he raised for his campaign to the people of Philly, they would boo him.

...which just makes me wonder why they would have her drop the puck in a stadium where they should have known she was going to get booed.

I can't believe she actually brought her young child. Do you think she thought that Philly wouldn't be so heartless as to boo a little girl? I guess Alaska is pretty fucking far from the Schuylkill or South Street.

She brought her child as a calculated move to get sympathy.
Fox news reported:
"The GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said at an earlier fundraiser that she would stop some of the booing from the rowdy Philadelphia fans by putting her seven year old daughter, Piper in a Flyers jersey. She said, 'How dare they boo Piper!'"
She is no stranger to hockey and knew that she would elicit at best a mixed response from the fans. I would venture that beyond just the oppertunity to get some face time in a battleground state , her people wanted to generate sympathy given the drumming they were taking for rabid right wing supporters public vitrol.
Yo its Philly. I used to be a neighbor of the Flyer's owner. We played street hockey in front of his house. Even us suburban snot nosed punks used revel in the sports driven rioting. Taking the train in to Broad St. to feild goal kick full beer cans of Schmidt's into the lines of Rizzo's police. Who thankfully were on orders to suspend business as usual for the day and didn't set us straight with a short, sharp, shock. And that was when the team won. We always thought the previous generation's Santa snowball pelting couldn't be topped but my generation managed to KO the Philly Phanatic.

The Thrill of the Chaste: Finding Fulfillment While Keeping Your Clothes On
New York Daily News columnist and blogger Eden offers a Christian apologetic for premarital chastity, aimed at "marriage-minded single women who'd had enough of the Sex and the City lifestyle." Eden herself is a convert to both Christianity and chastity, and now an unmarried 30-something, she's persuaded that chastity is more "hope-filled" and "vibrant" than sex outside of marriage.
Nice choice for photoshopping source material. It could only have been better if they had dug up Michelle Malkin's South Jersey shore high school records.
