I've started with a very large Red Bull Vodka and have a half-rack of Stella chilling in the fridge. BBC America on the tube for election coverage.
What are you drinking/watching????

I'm watching the words of an Offering Memorandum slowly conform to my clients' expectations on the screen before me. I'm drinking golden-tip Assam tea. Every once in a while I go outside and look south towards the border, wondering what hellish indecencies America has planned for the world in the next 4 years. I (vaguely) remember the starry-eyed ebullience during the JFK election. Then I remember the Cuban missile crisis and the Vietnam war, and as much as the negro-fanciers are the intelligentsia of High-Street, I wonder if they've been deluded by the slick brown veneer. On the other hand, I can imagine the pain y'a'l'l would go through if you had to watch McCunt and Cunt on your teevees every night for the next 4-8, and I find myself hoping that Uncle Rebamus wins. So...I'll be checking back to grimly watch what will be, and later on I'll no doubt treat myself to a pleasant glass of Ardbeg.

Friends coming over...
Death in the Afternoon
Ernest Hemingway is credited with the creation of this cocktail...
1 oz Absinthe combined with 5 parts chilled Champagne...
Place absinthe in a champagne flute, and add champagne until the concoction appears milky and opalescent.
Fucking Deadly....

We put champagne in the 'fridge, but I'm only gonna drink it if my guy wins. If McSame/Failin wins, I'll hit the Crown Royal.

Here is a good history.
If McPain wins, pass up the liquor, proceed to something else.

If McCain/Palin wins I may be forced to take up arms. It's only a matter of time until the revolution.

I won't leave it up to chance, I'm into both the beer and the booze; I may pass out before it's over - but I'll find out when I wake up.

I didn't get out of work until 9:30, by then it was a fait accompli. I'm still drinking because I'm hoping to feel something.

I'm just being my typical self.... I'm loaded up on Johnnie Walker Black Label like I am every night of the year.... I'm single handedly putting some kid in the U.K. through college....
