News with that not so fresh feeling.
Sure, they condemn terrorism, but is that enough to permit all the other things they 'condemn' (buttsecks, female drivers, etc.)? "Welcome to Islam, where it's OK to hate, but only the people we tell you to hate, and not so much with the bombs. Got it?"
We shouldn't get too offended too fast. The US sends mixed messages like this all the time. One's HIV status can already be declared a murder weapon, and various human rights groups are already monitored by the government. Do we think it'd take another term of our own Fearless Leader (picture a second 9/11-type event, and the suspension of elections, 'round this time next year) to have all homos declared terrorists and packed off to Cuban internment camps?
