Why does PeTA hate plants--and women?

What, no bananas and zucchinis? You would think that the corn lobby would want to be involved. But broccoli? Nobody likes that stuff but I have to admit that the physics of the act leave me intrigued.

Nice, exploitation of women and veggies in the same ad. Note to PETA: For Gawd's sake don't you know that carrots are people too?

Somehow - the salad I had for lunch, oddly, makes me feel less.. ..manly.

What sucks about this ad is that I have seen more blatant exploitation and insinuendo in Bud Lite commercials. The sponsor, however, seems to be at odds with the network. GoDaddy ads show more skin than this ad as well. Shit, if you are paying that kind of dollah, you should be able to use Goatse to advertise Prep-H!
(sidebar, why does the spellchecker think I misspelled "Goatse"? Isn't that in most dictionaries by now?)

Although I hate PeTA and think they are morons, sic here has a very good point, which had not occurred to me before--probably because of how much I hate PeTA and think they are morons.
Oh, crap, this doesn't mean I have to side with PeTA, does it?

Of course not! PETA sucks and you’re entitled to be nasty concerning them!

PETA just needs to come to grips with the fact that is the the hervibore's fate to be eaten; which when taken with the understanding that the old carnivore will starve to death seems like a happier ending.
I do agree with their stance against factory farms, the meat produced by those factories is nasty tasting and unhealthy to eat.

Even the Humane Society of the United States encourages vegetarianism and works diligently to eradicate animal abuse on pretty much all levels - and yet they manage not to be dicks about it.

What's wrong with People Eating Tasty Animals? I'm a member, even have the t-shirt.

My parents got me one from a steakhouse they went to. On the back it says, "There's room for all of God's creatures...right next to my mashed potatoes."

I like vegetables. It's what my food eats.
