Dog mutilates sleeping infant in Waukegan[/size][/size]

WAUKEGAN
An infant boy's genitals were mutilated early Sunday when a dog at the Waukegan apartment where the child was sleeping chewed through the child's dirty diaper, police said Monday.
The 4-month-old awoke screaming just before 1:30 a.m. after a dachshund owned by his father's girlfriend mutilated and ingested his genitals, police said. The child's father and girlfriend had been sleeping in another room in the apartment in the 1300 block of White Oak Drive, the father told police.
The boy was taken to Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago and remained in stable condition Monday. No charges have been filed. Waukegan police and the Lake County state's attorney's office are investigating. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services has been notified.

it's ok, the docs will probably just snip what's left off and have them raise the kid as a girl. I'm sure he'll she'll be fine.
