The law is clear, if you are the biological father of the child, you are legally the father of the child. To establish paternity, a DNA test is all that is required. The law is not for justice, the law is for the social need. In this case, it is better to tie an inadvertent man down then to leave a child at the financial burden to the state.
Equitable estoppel has saved none.

Agreed. For starters, most home freezers are frost free and cycle to above 0°C several times daily. Freeze thaw cycles are really bad for long term storage. Professionals probably buffer it or even dry it. Maybe she had equipment for livestock sperm.
