I need to dig through my attic.  I have a great write up on how to cultivate bonsai pot plants.  Even has guidance on how to ensure you are always supplied without having to harvest the whole plant.

I would appreciate a copy of that, if and when!

We'll be ready for that in Texas in around the year 2200.

Flavor & filler for a very slow bake, ultra light-weight and wants to stay that way.  May just go with a infused honey she can add to her tea but she likes a smoke sometimes; you know to enjoy the deed and much as the result.

Of course you could always just  follow the bard.

What we found

There was unquestionable evidence for the smoking of coca leaves in early 17th century England, based on chemical evidence from two pipes in the Stratford-upon-Avon area.
Neither of the pipes with cocaine came from Shakepeare’s garden. But four of the pipes with cannabis did.
Results of this study (including 24 pipe fragments) indicated cannabis in eight samples, nicotine in at least one sample, and in two samples definite evidence for Peruvian cocaine from coca leaves

I've had less than stellar results with any kind of sugar-based extraction. I think they only work by boiling off the lighter organic compounds from the weed where they are captured by the syrup. (Above the boiling point of water, below that of sugar). But if you have a good supply to get it dialed in it will work, but in my experience you lose a lot. No problemo if you are the grower, but I wouldn't want to have to buy that much.

Saw that one and didn't want to do that much on my first run, my only question would be why strain?  If you've properly ground the herb before emulsion the remaining fragments will steep in the tea, settle as sediment "tea leaves" or hopefully be suspended in the tea and consumed.

In the besides column: the intense breeding and farming of current herbs, herbs of all types actually, has resulted in increasingly more flavorful and powerful herbs.  This ain't 1980 anymore.

I'm going to try this and keep looking, after all teenaged boys don't need to see/hear "Mom" (Hallelujah!, Hallelujah!) bubbling away on a water pipe.  A lady is allowed her private indulgences after all...

If you were going to go ahead and eat the ground up bits, why not skip the heating step and just put in a pinch along with a squeeze of honey to cut the bitterness?

Still, I stick to fat and alcohol extractions. They have remained the best way to get the extracts without boiling a lot off or having to eat a bunch of leaf dust.

Well, duh.  Agriculture, manufacturing, mining, and tourism are the largest basic sector industries in Colorado.  Pot had potential to move the needle big-time, since most pot smokers are more than willing to have somebody else grow and package the stuff as long as it's available at a reasonable price.

More importantly you add Joe & Jane Citizen back into the mix.

That right there alone certainly has to have the Republican Congress' panties in a bunch.  How do you condemn this while, at the same time, hypocritically trying to move in on the booming industry and taking over?  They can't add a higher layer of rules/tariffs/taxes/regulations/etc. as long as it's still declared illegal at the Federal level.

I'm busy looking for that article I posted from Nebraska, seems the states surrounding Colorado aren't amused by the day trippers flying high down the freeway with a trunk load of weed.  The initial tourist rush seems slow to taper off and we all know the amount of idiots in our world.  The cops aren't searching for weed so much as disgusted with the teen-aged antics of those who can't figure out it's not a sudden free-for-all.

In a lot of these busts the perp's are like something straight out of Cheech-n-Chong.

The legalization of marijuana on the Santee Sioux land came in June, months after the Justice Department outlined a new policy that allows Indian tribes to grow and sell marijuana under the same conditions as some states.

About the only way it will happen here in America's Wang.

Marijuana hits record high acceptance in US

Unless you count everybody doing it but not talking about it in the 60s, 70s pre-Reagan era of America.

This is pretty sped, but one of my biggest reasons for hoping it gets legalized across the board is to finally get a source for good sativa.  My guy specializes in some super-shtoopid indica, and I don't always want to be couch-bound.

When recently visiting Holland, I was stoked to be able to get high quality sativa in both leaf and resin form.

I grew both this year.  I prefer Sativa, and I enjoy a good Turkmenistan Hasheesh when I can locate it.  Now, I can make my own.  My Sativa plants were drop dead gorgeous.

It's got a good beat and you can dance to it.  I used to burn a little prior to working out, back when I did that sort of thing (working out).  Also good when doing manual labor while listening to some tunes.

Wouldn't even smoke Mexican dirt-weed out of it.  Shit, you can still go to the hardware store and build a pipe out of an end connector, a site-glass, an elbow, and an oil cup.  I used to have one in solid brass.
