You missed the point completely: it's disrespectful of family values to be open about one's desires and activities. It's far more Christian to break vows and then lie about it.

Look, she's not quitting the marriage, she's just leaving before it becomes the same old matrimony as usual. It's wasteful to sit around as a lame duck wife and just run the clock out. That's not the kind of efficiency and hard work she promised Todd in her wedding vows.

Now that Billy Mays has been revealed to have had coke (and half a dozen other drugs) in his system, I am only wondering if he can beat MJ's tox panel. At least that explains the former's exuberance during infomercial appearances. Jackson was mostly on downers, which probably accounted for his inadequacy with the public. Not trying to excuse either, but when you've got final, medical results, you learn a lot more about the lives they were trying to live than the face they showed to the world.
