Lawyers beat this shit all the time. Leave it to the 'common man' to get locked up for so long. Someone is out there, just waiting to be sued for inadequate representation...or the jerkwad really was hiding assets, which I figure is true, but 14 years for it? Sadly, the Today show won't interview the ones incarcerated for failure to appear, disruption, or perjury. Ten bucks says some morning show will get this worthless asswipe on the air.
