They were also trying to establish if the dead man was a genuine black-cab driver.

Was his skin color obscured by the lack of a head?

Yawn. So? A week away, and we are sure getting lame here. This is nothing w/o pix. I decapitated several taxi drivers yesterday, and no one cared.

I must say, if you're going to off yourself, this method gets points for style. I wonder what the motive was. I suppose since this was listed as "another" decapitation, that this is becoming a trend? Oh and yes, quite a let down without a full color spread.

Ambulance services attended at 12.40am and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

This is a job for Captain Obvious!

Huh, these amatures don't even know you aren't supposed to do compressions and breaths at the same time.

I’m going to guess you don’t know about black cabs.  London has an official certification for cab drivers.  Among other things, the certification includes a test that involves getting to obscure addresses on one-way narrow old streets covering the least distance possible.  There are similar official cabs in Paris that display the words Taxi Parisien.

As a foreigner, you should never get into a cab whose driver hasn’t been certified and gone through a background check.  Getting into a “gypsy” cab can cost a lot of wasted time, additional expense, and given the world we live in, possibly much worse.
