This worthless cunt's so-called "music" made me grow a vagina and start menstruating.

Seriously, this has now replaced Ani Defranco as my pick for "worst musician ever."  Jeez, you'd think you fags would be mans' men and listen to decent music, but NOOOOO it's all showtunes and shrill dykes with acoustic guitars.

EDIT: can't remember if Choad's gay or not, but I'm leaving the post un-changed.

Ahh, there we are... a truly critical review from a gentleman of good breeding.

Thanks for that invaluable and thought provoking perspective, JLP.

I always knew our Jesus had some old testament in him!

That stray apostrophe gives you wiggle room... repent now and say you were talking about Pale or Taint.

What stray?  That's a fucking contraction.  "Choad is"

EDIT: and apparently Choad is straight.  After the Fnord outing, can you blame me for not being sure?

And this, coming from someone who likes stout pieces of plastic shoved up his ass?

But it could have been possessive.

Hey I was just trying to give you an out.  And many of us are confused by the new fnord paradigm.

Confused and.... strangely aroused?

I'd just like to point out that the fnord outing happened just after the Zookie ragequit.  Now, I'm not saying they're the same person... but have you ever seen them in the same room at the same time?

EDIT: thanks for the out, but I'll own up to my own tomfooleries.

A classically trained pianist when she was critically injured riding a bicycle in Philadelphia 10 years ago, she rebuilt her cognitive skills from scratch with jazz and blues, writing and performing despite the chronic pain. I've heard her speak. The woman is brilliant.

Just because she went through a lot of hard shit doesn't mean her music doesn't blow.

Take a look at the ratio of classically trained pianists:crap pop artists who've gotten you laid.  Heavily weighted to the crap pop artists, isn't it?

EDIT: and since when has being a good speaker related in any way to one's musical talent?

Like Thomas Kinkaide is art for people who don't like art, I think this Melody is jazz for people who don't like jazz.

Oye, 'snot a psycho-sexual-political thing, awright? I like the voice. Pop music in my day meant 'Who Is That Doggy In The Window?' and 'On Top Of Old Smokey, All Covered With Cheese, I Lost My Poor Meatball, When Somebody Sneezed.'  Show tunes made me hurl. Vinyl and tape were expensive. A turntable, tuner, amp and speakers cost a small fortune I couldn't afford. Zappa and Hendrix were the first whiff of something better.

Mostly I like quiet.

You're not supposed to have the same tastes.

It's cool, Choad.  I like her and her music... a lot.  And hey, she's a hometown girl... gotta look her up.

I'm not particularly a connoisseur, but Anvil! The Story of Anvil sounded like an interesting movie.  Have you seen it?

OK, she deserves props for pulling herself together after a bad accident.  However, the video appears to be the love child of an orgy involving Peggy Lee, Lawrence Welk, and the June Taylor Dancers and wasn't the sort of thing I would listen to.
