Afghanistan is just such a fucked up country. I don't have a link, but have you guys been reading about the heroin problem over there? They have this Superdome type building in Kabul that's become HQ for the bazillion junkies our intervention over there has created. Whole towns have become zombified since these people have opium and nothing else, including jobs, medical care, etc.
Why are we there again?

We're there because it was just as fucked up before we got there (complete with junkies) and some fucked up people took advantage of the fucked up country to fuck us up. So we're there to attempt to either unfuck the fucked up place or fuck up anyone who thinks about fucking with us. It likely won't fucking work, so we're fucked.
