I'd like to feel some sympathy for these wo-men; But, if prostitution didn't obviously cause such harm to society, it wouldn't be il-legal. These wo-men could all-ways "take up" a more re-sponsible career - Say . . . As a tobacconist.

Prostitution needs to be legalized. Just because truck stop whores tend to be low class skanks is no reason for them to be at risk of being killed while on the job.

The last time Mr. Sofie was on the road, he was parked with a friend in Ohio smoking a joint and talking to me on the phone when two lot lizards (that's what they're called) knocked on the door asking for a cigarette. They started coughing loud and said they had swine flu to get rid of them.

The place in Ontario is something to behold. People get on the radio asking for anything you can imagine. There's a whole lotta nasty going on in truckstops. You see drivers who are selling all the accessories off their trucks (that they probably don't even own) for crack and shit.

Individual companies use GPS (if they're smart), but there's no way to track whether your driver is a psycho murderer.

Truckstops have cameras, but not in the huge lots that they park in. They do try to keep the whores away, but it's true that no one gives a shit about some skanky lot lizards.
