This is what we get for not having effective border control and an aggressive deportation program.  We are also one of the very few countries that have birthright citizenship, which in America’s case is the result of the misapplication of the 14th amendment, which was intended only to apply to the newly freed slaves.

Re-lax, dude.  It's not like she was in-sulting your mother or any-thing.  It seemed an in-nocuous enough comment to me.

Read it more care-fully.  The intent of the Fourteenth Amendment was to make all United Statesians citizens subject to the Federal Government.  It basically gave powers to the Federal Government which were pre-viously re-served to the States.

Fine.  Let me be more specific; section one of the 14th amendment (which deals with citizenship) was intended to confer citizenship on negros, whom the Supreme Court had previously ruled could not in any way be considered citizens of the United States.  The Congress of that time never visualized or intended for hordes of illiterate mestizo peasants to cross the border, pop out anchor babies and then engage in a chain migration “family reunification” which would result in hundreds of each anchor baby’s relatives gaining legal residence and citizenship.
