When the elderly boomers are reduced to shitting themselves, here's a bedtime story to put them to sleep.

Boring.  He doesn't do anything, except lie there.

I must be missing something.  Boring and possibly too subtle for me.

I dated a lady who was in the Who's entourage from 1967 to the time that Keith died. (I lost track of her, getting married and all)  She was a few years older than me, anyhow she loved Keith, and found him to be a charming person when sober, a wildman when drunk, and a passionate friend to all who were in his life.

I find these little "art projects" petulant, and indicative of a envious, and malicious nature.  Kinda sad and indicative of the "Mummy & Daddy" syndrome.

No.  The point is that Keith/anyone deserves more than this.  Believe me I could drop names all day if I wanted to, the point eluded you, yes?

A totally unique drummer.  There is no who after him.
To me, this is some amazing drumming:

Jerry Garcia didn't deserve that " autopsy" that was a CSOTD either. When you die famous, you'll get dissed too. Deal with it.

I thought it was Brian Wilson that was dead on a bed and off his head...

The truth be told, I lost a long and dear friend to cancer on Friday.  Kinda not taking the dissing of dead people at the moment, sure that will change.  Didn't mean to get nasty with Siggy, apologies to all.

I'm sorry to hear that Dusty. My best wishes to you and his family.

He was our best man at our wedding.  He leaves his partner behind, and a very large group of friends.  He was highly creative, Chef, Fashion Designer, and more.  I met him in 1977.  Excellent person to get high with.  One of the most loving people I have had the honour to be associated with.

Are you familiar with the children's book "Goodnight, Moon?"
This is a retelling of that story with Keith Moon as the central figure.
Sheesh.

Sheesh.

Which, in turn, is a rip on "Runaway Bunny"... I read both aloud to my sons so many times I could very likely repeat them from memory.

Dusty I’m sorry for your loss.  Losing someone who played a starring role in your life story is never easy.

We worked together in London, ran clubs, and generally had a great time.  He was one of the few people who could nail me on my crap, and get away with it with grace, humour, and generally a large spliff sitting in the garden together.

My wife knew him longer, he was one of the first people she met when she moved to London from Scotland.  I wish we could be there for the funeral, half of London should probably be there.

Dusty, me and mine are at the point where all the parents are dead and we all wonder which of us will be the first to go. Sorry about your friend.
