It's the Savior Shooter!

A Minnesota marketer of communion-wafer dispensers is accusing its former president of patent infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets.
. . .
Among other things, Nu-Life Products of Minnesota claims it owns technology known as the "rapid reload system" for fast wafer loading and the "quad-rotator technology" allowing up to 400 wafers to be dispensed without having to be refilled.

I say we call in Billy Mays to arbitrate.

I wonder if the wafers come in different flavors?

To increase sales, they could pop the cross off and sell them to restaurants that distribute "wafer thin mints."

The Anglicans are not exactly a class act; formed to excuse Henry's VIII asinine peccadillo's, and lack of erection ability.   Now that is a reason to start a church!

It was a little more complicated than Henry’s dick issues.  Rome had repeatedly interfered in the English dynastic succession and internal politics and caused a number of problems.  You also have to remember that the Pope had armies and real political power back then.  Priests and Bishops were effectively agents of a foreign political power; anything said by a ruler or powerful individual in confession, or during government deliberations was reported to the Pope by his clerical spies.  Because of the turmoil caused by the War of the Roses just prior to his reign, Henry was determined to have a male heir whose claim to the throne could not be contested.

The decision to end the Pope’s ability to affect English politics was really more of a political decision than a religious one.  I suspect most of the leaders on both the Anglican and the Catholic sides didn’t give a shit about religion; the issue for them was power and aligning themselves with the faction they deemed most likely to prevail.

There isn’t that much difference between Roman Catholicism and Anglicanism.  Were it not for a few issues like Papal Infallibility, Mandatory Confession, and priests having the nerve to question people about their spawning decisions, I don’t think most Anglicans in our time would object to reunification or some sort of association with Rome.

Au Contraire... The dislike of the Roman Church is an ongoing Social Meme of great depth in the Angles land.  The people of the Wee Kirk, and the Small Chape are of course even a bit more rabid on the subject.

A slightly different legal dispute.
