Well, if you take them outside and let them go, the phobia will start to diminish. Part of the phobia is intertwined with the spiders is your disposal methods, you betcha.

I'm with George. I'm not actually phobic about the damn things, but they're not paying rent and they're not cute to look at or fun to fuck. Plus they bite, and they get in your bed and scare the shit out of people who are fun to fuck.

I make sure spiders go outside. Dead. Very dead. Smashed to a brown goo dead. Preferably with the Oxford Unabridged.

I agree. No catch and release. Smash the 8 legged fuckers. We get wolf spiders here and some of those bastards are as big as a mouse. Probably break the plastic handle.

I have had a spider in my bed crawling on my legs right when I turned the light off. I have also had a spider crawl across my face. And these were large spiders. In the mountains around here we have smaller versions of camel spiders which are pretty interested in tents apparently.
