Supposedly if you are running Windows XP you can do the following (we are all upgraded)
Well, I know that in XP if you went into Notepad and typed "Bush hid the facts", saved it as with any name, and then re-opened it, the text would be changed to square characters.

I entertained this experiment on my desktop which is running XP Pro, FAIL, doesn't work, no surprise though.
