Drinkers, even heavy drinkers, live longer than teatotalers.  And the numbers aren't even close.  Of course all the High-Streeters knew this.  Good to be vindicated.

Cheers!!

Congratulations, phreddy! I hope this vindication makes up for all the reasoned reactions to your politics.

I'm sorry, did you have a reasoned objection to his statement?  Perhaps you have a counterexample?

Blame it on compassion and rationality.

Reasoned reactions?  Now that's rich.  I can't even post a positive story about healthy drinking but you loons on the left have to make it about politics.

All to true, I'm afraid. Maybe I'm just drunk with anonymous internet power. It is an interesting article though.

No Tojo, just a reasonable objection to hypocrisy.

I personally have no strong feelings about auditing the gold reserve, but "The Batshit-Crazy Rightwing Faux-Libertarian Fearmongering Distraction Bill"? Oh yeah.... That's the name of EVERY Republican sponsored bill these days. is difficult to counter with reason.

But easy to do with a bit of research.

I'm sorry, I don't do much research on batshit-crazy, righwing, faux-libertarian, Fearmongering, or Distraction.  To be honest, I haven't even researched auditing the gold reserve... but given your less than objective arguments against it I have to ask myself... why would anyone be against an financial audit?

Agreed.  I was so drunk before now that I thought this thread was about the 18th amendment, so please accept my apologies for waiting so long to respond.
