I always thought it was "about a hundred cups of coffee". Looks like it's a little bit less.

His dosage works out to almost 42 cups of brewed (not instant, which is weaker) coffee. That's assuming that Red Bull sold in the UK has the same amount of caffeine as Red Bull sold in the US.

Im not trying to be a completly insensitive person but...
Fair enough he wanted to have a bit of an extra buzz but its quite obvious you dont take that much caffine... Thats like swallowing bleach and then somebody saying "I cant believe you can buy this in all shops on a highstreet fior less than £5"
To say its anybody elses fault but his own is completly narrow minded
R.I.P Michael Bedford nothing against you just the way people are blaming others again! may your death atleast educate others

We ran outta bleach around the time the NSFW Picture Thread got up to eight pages. Sorry.
Surely you've heard/read the British expression before? It means the section of town where the shops are.

The estimated LD50 dose for caffeine (that which is supposed to kill half the people who take it) is about 150-200 mg/kg of body weight. You can, however, build up a tolerance.
At my peak, I was drinking about 40 cups of coffee in the waking half of the day, which is apparently enough to cause some minor heart issues after 20+ years. A doctor told me it would be sufficient to kill a child or small woman. Until that point, I had no idea that it wasn't normal to drink a couple pots of coffee in the morning and go kill all your co-workers be a bit irritable.

Weaned off by slugging your first pint earlier? Had the same problem so I'm projecting.
Entirely off the subject but ever hear again from Doc Logger?

Doc Logger was around on facebook for a while, then he suffered a massive stroke, and AFAIK now he is a potted plant, or pretty close to it.
Kind of unfortunate... he was an ass, but he could also be quite funny.

That nutshells it well. Doc gave me the germ of an idea that evolved into my most successful short story. Least now he won't try to claim credit. I'll miss him.
