Well now there's a surprise, they couldn't find an extremist in Irvine? Well glory fucking be, maybe we should have infiltrated the Vatican first or at least Newport Beach.
I hate it when the government proves their own idiocy.

It looks like they didn’t learn anything from their mistakes in the 60s. The FBI, CIA, and Army Intelligence would each infiltrate a group unbeknownst to each other, and each group’s agent would suggest violent action. They would all report back to their supervisors that the group contained dangerous radicals and request backup. The backups would suggest violent actions in order to establish radical cred, and everybody would report back the group was becoming more dangerous and request more backup agents, who in turn suggested violent actions. This would lead to an assessment the group was an imminent threat to public safety and national security. When the agencies finally talked to each other and pulled their agents, the groups collapsed completely or were reduced to a few potheads exchanging fantasies about how things would be different if they were in charge of the government.

Learn to love it and revel in it, as I have, and your life will be one fuckload of a lot happier. It is as your friend that I suggest this.

Right arm, George. Here's George Carlin offering the same, 'I'm here for the entertainment' advice 13 years ago.
Carlin interviewed by Dennis Miller (1997)

I revel in all of it, however I'm mindful of the fact that this is us and we need to get better. As your friend I suggest you look towards our shared society and examine means of improvement as opposed to simple disconnected ridicule.
