My father recently had to have a temporary colostomy.  The doctor fucked it up and cut the tube from his bladder.  Now his kidney is compromised and on top of it, they found lesions on his liver.... The strange thing is, at 22,  I had to have a colostomy and due to over-zealous doctors, I ended up with an ileostomy.  That lasted three years, thankfully I didn't have this guy's problems.  They can be very painful and unpleasant even when done correctly.
