One should always encourage opposition speakers of this caliber in order to help your side win!  In 1978, when Prop 6 (The Briggs Initiative) was before the voters of California to ban teachers who might be gay or had no problem with gay people, people like this lady were always invited to public debates on the initiative so that people could see the merits of the anti-gay position!  An activist friend of mine in Santa Barbara made sure these highly informed people spoke at local events about the initiative!  I believe this was a huge factor in Prop 6 going down in flames.

Students have dubbed her "Crazy Blue Protesting Lady" because of the blue coat she often wears. A Facebook page about her has nearly 3,000 members.

I love the American sense of humor.
