Dirckman feels sorry for the Lakota....  Not for the high rates of poverty, alcoholism, diabetes, suicide rates, murder rates and total lack of common sense, but rather because they are such an ugly lot.... Dirckman has seen some rather attractive Native Americans from different parts of the U.S.,  but the poor fucking Lakota forefathers fell out of the ugly tree hitting every branch on the way down....  Bad skin, mishapen bodies, fetal alcohol syndrome, missing teeth and inbreeding has done one hell of a number on these people's appearance.  Dirckman regularly drives through Indian reservations including the most famous of all "The Rez" (Pine Ridge) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pine_Ridge … eservation .  Going through the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation is something everyone should do at least once in their life...  You're surrounded by the worst poverty and highest murder rate per capita in the U.S., but everyone is driving a brand new car (because they test drive them down there and no one has the balls to go to "The Rez" to repo them)...  Last time I went through there I was driving my old beater 1995 Jeep Cherokee and I had a guy in a brand new Lincoln LS come up and ask me for money in a halfway threatening manner.....  You can always tell the Natives that were raised on "The Rez" because they're the ones with the missing body parts, stab wounds, bullet wounds, FAS facial features, and seven fingers per hand....  Why they just don't get a fucking job and move on is beyond me...  They aren't even employed on the reservations either, the only people you see working on the reservations are really nervous white people....  I rarely see a Native employed here in Rapid City either and there are lots of them here too......  Getting gainful employment can't be that hard can it?  I don't even see that much racism towards the Natives here either, mainly frustration that they are unable to take care of themselves...
