As if no one knows that.

A good friend of mine is dying of breast cancer, she's in liver failure right now and probably only has a week to go.  This makes me so angry.

Also, there has been an unjust end to an animal's life recently.

that is all.

I have no obligatory cruel link, I think this serves as cruel enough.

[human decency]

I'm truly sorry for your grief.  Fuck cancer.

[/human decency]

There are a few veteran select that I feel are not obliged to post links.  You are on that roster.

Sorry, Rog.  I have a lady friend who is going thru pancreatic cancer and is in her final struggle, so I can definitely sympathize with you.  Life truly is not fair.

Cancer is a fucker.

Happy(ish) thought about animals:  I was visiting friends in Erie last weekend, a car slowed down and they tossed a pitbull puppy out into the street. I was able to dodge traffic and gather it up. It is home with me and my other pit now and doing well.

Sorry to hear that Roger. I've lost friends, family members and pets to cancer and it never gets easier.

Well, there you go.  It is not all bad.  That cat rescued a dog and this dog recently rescued two kittens from a dangerous home environment.  I was hoping to attach an image of one of them (Sam I. Am); But, my friend canceled the e-mail with the photos which she took when she got a message in-forming her that it would be billed at $0.15.  Is band-width that value-able a commodity now; Or, is that simply "a Verizon thing"?

I'm so sorry about your friend Roger.  Cancer sucks, and the worst part of it is that most cases are caused by crap in our food, or in our environment.  It isn't possible to avoid all the sources of radiation and toxic chemicals capable of causing this disease, no matter how paranoid/careful you are.

I looked up your posting elsewhere about the animal, and I can only say I’m horrified and outraged by the lies and the injustice.  I hope you’re able to inflict suitable damage on the organization involved.  Give your own kitties treats and reassure them they’ll never fall into the clutches of a lying animal welfare organization.

[obligatory shithead remark]
Your friend didn't used to do a lot of clown porn did she?
[/obs]

Really, sorry that you have to go through with that. Cancer does suck, but the thought that raises my spirits is that people are working very hard on solving the problem and some of the best medical researchers are working on it. (When they aren't researching Women's Viagra...)

Thanks everyone.   I just hope my friend passes without too much pain.

And as for the humane society...they can suck it.

Aah, the humane society.  The one here in the ATL is under investigation right now for mistreatment of animals, excessive euthanasia, and a bunch of other things.

This was definitely a case of wrongful euthanasia.  It makes me sick to think about it, and kept me up last night.

You should go to the local papers.  That is what got the ATL douchebags put under the microscope.

I would really like to, and am considering it.

I wrote the letter to the editor of the local paper.  We'll see if they publish it.

Sorry about your friend RT.  I lost a wonderful coworker to breast cancer 3 months ago.

Also about the euthanasia of the... wait I need some background.

Sucks, Rog.
Dying sucks.
Vulnerability sucks.
Most humans suck.
I have added the appended gif of a most-adroit and skillful-seamstressy kitty-kat to remind you of the Moirai (especially Atropos), and also in the faint hope that it might cheer you up a little.

I'm not going to post a link that contains RT's legal name.  I came close to crossing the beams by even mentioning it.

It was on facebook...so he couldn't really link to it.   It's a long story, maybe I'll post it later, but it still hurts to think about so I'd rather not think about it right now.  I've got a ton of homework/studying to do, so I need to focus.
