Jeez, 10 more minutes in, and I'm finishing another as I type. I hate these things.

I'm not going to ruin a perfectly good scotch with this poison on TV. I'll do my sippin' out on the veranda, thanks.

This was a High-Street & Cruel Tradition! Where are your loyalties?

I tried to get into the H-S spirit for these debates, but there's something dispiriting about tonight. Obama has the air of someone with his mind on something more important, and I think Romney may have recently had caffeine for the first time in his life. But it's all been just softballs made of bullshit. Are they holding back for a later debate?

"Obama's not looking like he came for a job interview, Romney so far does"
"i can't believe i'm saying this, but Obama looks like he DOES need a teleprompter"
"Romney looks more confident and energetic - he's about a minute away from holding Obama down and cutting his hair. This better be ropeadope"
"Obama made a lot of great points tonight. Unfortunately, most of them were for Romney"
"i must say, of all the Romneys i've seen, this Debate Romney is my favorite"
"my rating: Romney won the debate, Obama had the facts on his side, and Lehrer sucked. Next debate, get @SethMacFarlane to host!"
- Bill Maher

I didn't watch the debate. Instead of watching Mittens lie to the public in his quest to suck the turds out of his masters' bungholes while inside the White House, I had dinner with family members and enjoyed the company of people who love me.

my favorite bit was "Obama looked like he was someplace else" joined with the fact that Turkey shelled Syria immediately before the debate.

Those of you who opted out of watching the debate missed a good old fashioned ass whuppin'. Rodney King fared better in his fray than Obama did last night. Someone better separate him from his yes men and fawning acolytes and give him a dose of reality. He's not dealing with the main stream media which has been pitching him softballs for four years.

Didn't watch it at all, I was carrying a junior high school girl down three flights of stairs on a stretcher. I did have several London Prides later in the day though.

That's weird - I was doing something to a junior high school girl too. She wasn't from London, but I'm still pretty proud.

Phreddy, I agree Romney looked better than Obama as far as presentation. That said, if Obama had won the debate, no wait, if Obama had won the debate so lopsidedly that even you'd admit he won it, would it change your vote?

Eh - Romney looked snarky and sanctimonious, I work with private equity guys and he still gave me a turn. I was actually starting to lean his way until I saw him in action.

Personally, I think they're BOTH sociopaths, but then you kind of have to be to be a candidate for President. The real choice, I think, comes down to the size of the nostrils.
