Stupidity knows no bounds. (Squirrels, on the other hand, bound all over.) If anyone needs a lesson on squirrel-or-any-other-small-flightless-animal-skinning, I used to do it as part of my field research work. It takes about 30 seconds if you've got a sharp scalpel and a pair of scissors, and while it may not smell pleasant (depending on the freshness of the mort), it would smell one helluva lot better than burnt squirrel fur.
