That's pretty disgusting. I only drink local beers. Oregon has the best I do believe.

It's not only beer. Just about everything advertised on TV (including politicians) or that you can buy in the supermarket is an industrial/chemical product designed to 1) be cheap to produce and 2) appear to be something that used to be good for you. Even modern vegetables have been bred for ease of production and transport, flavor and nutrition are a poor third if they're considered at all.

Just remember, when you have been spending the day at a beer festival and happen to get pulled over on the way home, when the officer asks "How many beers have you had today?", the correct answer is NOT "30 or 40".
