Mostly pointless (like a broken pencil). Here's the essence of the perversion, and the reason that legislation will never prevail. (I assume it still works if you switch genders):

Geez Em...can't you read url tags? Nobody keeps (much of) this shit on their HD.
I would suggest you boot up from a CD that includes Tor when you look at things like this so that there isn't a browser history on your hard drive. Second best option would be to use Tor on a hard drive (preferably an external one) to hide your location.
