So, you believe that most of the plight of the African-American has been mainly caused by society, not by any inherent genetic defect?

Ahh,, the 'nurture vs nature' argument.
My wife and I argued over it on our first date and for years before we had our first son... I argued for nature, she for nurture... once first our son was about 2 and was hammering on the pots and pans like Gene Krupa during dinner one night, she turned to me and said "I really can't imagine a little girl doing that!"... to which I replied "Dear, it too me 5 bloody years, but I've finally won the argument."
