I have only cruised once, and not on Carnival, but I found it to be a new experience which I don't think I want to repeat. Maybe in another ten years.

There was nothing actually wrong with my trip except I never felt like I was where I belonged. I was younger than many on-board by about ten to twenty years. I was more active than most as well. I wanted to party at night but found the dance club and other bars on the ship deserted by 11:00. I gave up after two nights of searching for something to do and just relaxed on my balcony and ordered room service drinks. I attempted several times to get into a No Limit Texas Hold Em tournament, but we never got enough players interested.

Many of my friends had told me over and over how much fun their cruise experiences were, but I found it more drudgery than fun. I did enjoy two ports we stopped at. I got to go tubing in a cave which is kinda right up my alley. But I found myself wishing I had just booked a week at one of the stops, Roatan Honduras, and not done the rest of the trip.

I've never done one, overly coordinated vacations tend to offend me.

Just ask yourself: Could I spend a week locked inside Mall of America? Would I love it? If so, then a cruise is for you!

Well there you go - I don't frequent Malls.  Sears and JC Penney reside there so I must go there for my clothing, but Amazon is slowly fixing that.
