Colorado planned years for this day and now they're out? This smells funny.

Isn't that the dream result for all of you potheads out there?  It shows that there is a real pent-up demand for legalized weed and hopefully will drive other states to help end the drug war as well.

I don't buy into the idea that people will return to the black market completely.  Most of us are happy to pay the taxes and mark up to avoid dealing with the black market types to begin with, hell just look at booze and ciggies if you need a good example.  Time will come that you buy your pack of cannabis at the local package store, it's inevitable at this point; heroin or coke - probably not so much.

Weed's a little different, happily. Merrily. A certifiable village idiot can nurture a mind wasting crop with the investment of a borrowed shovel.

Tube cut tobacco marketed to "pipe smokers" retails here for $8 a pound.

The bottom will fall out of the weed market. I'll bet money on it.

Who cares? Home growing is legal now. Every basement will have grow lights before six months have passed, and up against the wall, Lid-Scalpers.

Yeah, this is a bit ridiculous.  With a single 4x8 flood table and a 1000 watt sodium I could do 20-22 ounces trimmed a month of the best white label Amsterdam had to offer.  Rumor has it I once did.

The cost to actually grow weed is astonishingly cheap, and I'd gladly pay 50% tax or more to be able to legally grow.
