In my opinion, the scene below is one of the creepiest ever to air on TV. Your friend is most excellent in it and also in Carnivale.
Oh, back on subject, sorry about the munchkins. Yesterday I saw Jerry Maren, the sole surviving Munchkin, in Where the Buffalo Roam.

Yuh, he is. Mike's first film was also my first, and last. Won an award, I think. Mike, who barely survived childhood, had infinite patience for tv's ego driven nonsense. He's from your neck of the woods. There's a better bio here about a third of the way down...

He taught himself how to speak "backwards" and was able to teach the rest of the cast that had to be in the Black Lodge scenes.
