What matters is that it is real. What will we do when sea level rises 5 feet, 10 feet,15 feet? When Manhattan (and all seaside cities) flood* each year?
Fuck placing the blame. What the fuck are we going to do?
I have no problem with allowing New York/Los Anges to flood every year, but that's no solution.

Who stuck a cobb up your sigmoid? The story is about the thinning of the magnetic field, which may be worse than global warming. So if it turns out that nature, not man, is responsible for global warming, what do you propose we do about it beside whine?

If Dallas weather turns into Palm Beach weather, and I can play golf all year round, fuck everybody on the coast. We'll build new ports on the new coastlines.

With the exception of a few cities, most of the cities that would be affected by rising water are less than a hundred years old, especially the low lying parts. So what if it will flood in fifty years if the city is only fifty years old?
But solar winds knocking out our wifi and microwave links? Fuck that!
