Disappointment
by Troy Allen Houston
You think you are being cool,
in reality, you are acting like a fool!
How can I express disappointment,
without the wrong message being sent?
I try to be straight with you,
thieving and lying is what you do!
You talk a good story,
giving yourself undo glory.
Why are you going down this road?
You're just adding grief to your heavy load.
Sure, you don't see the mistakes you're making,
or the people who you are truly forsaking.
No, I am not talking only about me,
but, I pray someday He sets you free.
From the destructive things you are doing,
people are watching you and they are booing!
You are not a bad person, we know,
we really do care more than we show!
I know, you don't like to be told,
your disappointments are beginning to get old!
If you pulled your head out of the sh*t,
you would see there is help to get!
Whatever you decide to do in your life,
don't let disappointment cause you strife.
Yes, I am disappointed at this time,
trying to express it to you in this rhyme!

Carl

Another day, a worthless loner
a cup of coffee, a raging boner
Terrified that the world might see
A grown man still tugging his pee-pee
Alas,  I decided no more rubs
Banjo was going out, hitting the clubs
I hit a few places, drank can after can
Beer buzz peaking, I stumbled into "Sman's"
"Sman's" was new. I had never been there before
"Five dollar cover" said the raspy chick working the door
A bargain it was, I saw treat after treat
Tonight I will find a proper home for my meat
I found me a girl and I stopped feeling sad. Oh!
For a second there I saw a five o'clock shadow
It must have been the lights playing such a trick
My sweet blonde Carly could never have a dick
We left the bar, and me, under the moon sang
Tonight Mr. Banjo you are getting some poontang
We laid in the grass and I started to nestle
My hands tickling what seemed like quite a large vessel
She was purring in my ear like a flooded '74 Harley
"Oh by the way, names Carl. Stage name is Carly"
