Something needs to be done about PowerPoint presentations, in general. If I could only get back all the hours that I've sat in meetings, conferences, etc. where the presenter just read his slides out loud to the audience. No embellishment of any kind, as if the presenter really didn't have any knowledge of the subject.

Yeah, I stopped doing that shit years ago. I use very terse slides and hand out an info packet after, why bother with a presentation if your just reading off what they can read for themselves.
