There are a few bright people on here, carbon nanotubes in 300 BC??
A lot of vague info out there, anyone have any further insight?

Short segments of nanotubes, graphene and various fullerenes can be produced spontaneously by natural combustion so their presence in steel carburized with wood or leaves isn't surprising, but by no means are we talking about bundles of nanotubes running the length of the blade. That would be cool, though, if it could be done.
