The Philadelphia Print Shop are experts in dating older prints (their folks are often on PBS' Antiques Roadshow)... might want to give them a ring and perhaps they can help (they're on G'town Ave in Chestunt Hill).
They responded to my email in five minutes. Sadly, they don't deal in daguerreotypes.
Ouch. Did they at least refer you?
If not, try Joseph Buberger in Hamden, CT. I think he's got a place in North Haven, but he's also got a website here.
There's also both the Photographic Historical Society of New England and Andrew Davidhazy, Professor of Imaging and Photographic Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology, who heads the American Photographic Historical Society in Rochester.
Alternatively, there's Paul Frecker in the UK (London).
These folks in my neck of the woods may also be able to help.

Eight live rounds were in the gun none in the chamber and a nine-round clip was also in the bag.
Thank God they pointed out the rounds were live. We might have just assumed they were duds...

Choad, he's the spawn. Actually, I think he may have sprung from one of these:

1. Right-click to Open Image in New Tab.
2. Clear browser cache.
3. Refresh page.
4. Gawp at drunken girl with shaved crotch giving onlookers an "Axe-Wound Salute."
5. Wonder what horrible malady has befallen her labia.
6. Close tab.

The comments were better than the whitewash in the article...
Looking at that fat fuck, I can't help but wonder why Hucklebee doesn't support abortion, 'specially post-natal abortion.
WORTH REPEATING:Oh, and by the way, a little detail regarding the tortured and hung dog... In the histories of almost 100% of serial killers, there is animal torture in their childhoods. As a means of analysing the future potential of a person (very usually a white male between the ages of 25 and 38) to commit serial murder, torture of animals is in the list of predictors, as is narrow-focus religious upbringing. This guy is trouble waiting to happen. ORIGANALLY POSTED BY: Mark As Violation
Trouble WAITING to happen? This fatfuck should have been a post-natal abortion.
The apple does not fall far from the tree. David Huckabee is a vicious person as proven by his past [animal torture] and current behavior and a reflection of his father's character. Michael Huckabee is not presidential timber.

"High Street, not just for the titillation"
