The old rolling stock still in service when I was a kid dropped your load directly to the track and you could watch it wizzzzzz by. Then came 'blue ice'. Sounds like the airlines have gone green. Did I say green?

I saw the some of the old rolling stock still in use in Italy in the late 90s. At one of the border towns with France the tracks were covered in several inches of shit and toilet paper. For a brief moment I thought I had somehow wound up in the Turd World.
