Gallagher has gotten himself stuck in a rut where his fans expect the same old shit. Back in 2010 when this article was first posted, I was still doing frequent performances of my "god damn niggers" routines. My fans still count on my making comments about niggers, and as often happens in recent years, if I let an opportunity to use the word nigger pass me by I get called on it. If I post an article about mind blowing asshole behavior, such as the recent one about the family that beat up a young female member to force a miscarriage, I'm called on it for not pointing out that these freaks happened to be niggers. Never mind the incident was so messed up that the fact that niggers were involved was just a tiny decoration on the fucked up shit cake; I was expected to comment on the fact that this was a family of niggers.

I know this guy had some heart-health issues in 2011-2012 but he's pretty much persona non grata since the early 21st Century anyway.  In 2004 Comedy Central only named him 100th on the list of best stand-up comedians of all time.  As fnord said, same old schtick gets you stuck in a rut.  Imagine if he ever tried to do a show and not smash watermellons?  With the type of crowds he attracts, I'm sure he can spew any old bile in his routine as long as people get drenched in fruit and vegetable guts at the end.
