My rural southern town has those folks beat. Here, they refuse to have a July the 4th celebration. Instead I have to endure
THE God and Country Celebration. They pile it on real thick with the Jesus Freedoms and guns. They had a raffle on school grounds,
part of the prizes being eight rifles and shotguns. Probably a Bible somewhere in there too.

Which is one of the many reasons I chose to be in OZ for the next month or so. I am blissfully unaffected by all that crap. Listening to cookaburras first thing in the morning is lovably.
