Count yourself lucky. Come down to the coast and they will get full of you. Maybe the dry weeks we have had lately? Or the Gypsy Moths ate em. Half the forests here are denuded. The bare trees are reflowereing and trying to bust out another last ditch effort at leaves.
But if you really want Mosquitos I am heading to coastal Georgia this week where the islands there have the first US breakouts of Chikungunya gonna get ya.
And in lieu of an eyeball report from Dusty, the Willamette valley's Long Tom river rats report the worst mosquitoes in living memeory. And fireflies too.

I'm half way between you and can confirm Em's report, equal parts of wet and temperate dry, with few seasonal ,non-2-legged vermin and a nice breeze off the bay. Almost ideal.
