I had to do a Google search on OUI. It gave me several choices, including:
1. A men's magazine.
2. 'Yes' in French.
3. An offense category peculiar to Maine law.

Nah - it's kinda the norm now. You can get arrested on: Bicycle, Horseback, Scooter and even Unicycle.

They will likely tack on Reckless Operation of a ______ under the influence of _________, and resisting if you aren't meek, evasion if you don't notice the light fast enough.

Well sure. But the rest of us call it DWI or DUI.
I'm not criticizing. I just thought that combination of possible meanings was amusing. Obviously, I'm easily entertained.

My neighbor has driving horses. Big ones, Percheron mixes from an Amish farm. To acclimate them to people and the streets we would saddle up and ride them into town by back alleys, and tie them to street posts while we went inside stores. Great gentle giants. Rare site for townsfolk to see horses hanging out like that on the sidewalks, but they are adaptable.
One of our stops would be the outdoor patio of the brewery. Where I would order a beer and a water. The water was for me, the beer was an entire pail full for the horse. Which was always comped, lucky girl that mare. The question still remains, if the horse is drunk but I am sober, is that a DUI?
