I can't decide what makes this deluded fruitcake more amusing; his hissy shock that public meltdowns prompt derision or one more reminder that hysteria can afflict biological males.

The problem with gays and the reason there is so much homophobia out there is because they force their sexuality on everyone else.....  Straight people don't have parades in which they march down the street in tight assless chaps.....  Straight people for the most part don't take it upon themselves to announce their straightness to everyone even though no one asked.....  I don't give a rat's ass if someone is gay, but at the same time I don't want their gayness shoved down my throat (throw in whatever blowjob jokes you want about that last sentence).....  Anyhow, if they want to act like freaks and demand special treatment that no one else gets they will get treated like shit.....

I’m perplexed that he can’t tell the difference between homophobia and distaste for disturbing attention whore emotional breakdowns in public.  What’s with the filthy hands?  I don’t find him repulsive just because he’s gay; I find everything about him to be repulsive.

Didn't you write an article about this once?
I've got nothing against homosexuals. Let them be free to do their gay thing in peace, I say. But when they start sucking my cock, then I've got a real problem.

Dirckie, what is shoving the gay thing down your throat? If I walk down the street holding another guy by the hand, is that shoving it down your throat? If I kiss my boyfriend hello in a restaurant, is that shoving it down your throat? Is a public expression of commitment, such as a wedding, shoving it down your throat?

You're right that there are no straight pride parades, because there doesn't need to be. Straight kids don't grow up fearful they'll be beaten up because they're straight; nobody calls straight guys "fucking breeders" and threatens to pound the shit out of them; no one tortures straights and hangs them from barbed wire fences to die because they're straight. Straight people never have to change the gender of the partners in discussions at work because they fear being harassed or fired from their job for being heterosexual. Straight people don't worry about being booted from the military and losing all their benefits and self-respect for being straight.

And what special treatment are gays demanding? The right to hold a job? The right to visit their partners in hospitals? The right be a part of their children's lives? The right to contribute to society?

When the larger society isolates, condemns, and attacks you for one of the most basic, integral aspects of your identity, you're gonna celebrate what makes you different. Especially when it annoys the hell out of those who condemn you. And it's entirely because gay people have been so fucking pushy about being out that things have changed over the past 40 years and not from being quiet and taking it slowly for fear of antagonizing the majority. People don't change unless their assumptions are called into question.

Sheesh. You're as big a douchebag as Chris Crocker.

No no no no you douchebag.  We don't force anything down anyone's throats.  Until you have grown up gay, you don't know the first thing about homophobia.  As for str8 people not pushing their sexuality down throats, you are completely off-fucking-base.  The entire social construct is geared towards breeders.

Special rights?  Gays have plenty of "special restrictions", laws especially designed to intimidate, harass and imprison gay people merely because of their sexual/affectional preferences.
My sexuality is no-ones business, except those with whom I have relations.
How would you like it if you were taking care of a lover/partner and they got sick, the hospital not letting you in to be with them?  Having them die, the family then coming in and taking all you had built with this person?  I doubt you would stand for it.

Your comments are hardly worth a response, as you are just like so many others with small, fearful minds.  I maintain that heterosexuality is not "normal", it's just COMMON.

Obviously, you have never been to the Folsom St. Fair, where, indeed, there are many "str8" identified males, strutting about in chaps.  (Assless is redundant, as chaps a designed without crotches or backs)  You seem to have looked at a few in your time, given your use of the adjective "tight".

There are also PLENTY of freaks in the str8 world, many more than the gay world, mainly due to the fact there are more str8's than gays. But sweetie, you'd be surprised just how many gays are really out there.  Closet cases, congressmen, priests, actors, and men that are getting some on the down-low. (Kim, any input?)

As for Miss Carter, much like the str8 world, there are always people that make you cringe...I'm thinking you are the str8 equivalent of that hysterical queen.  Hopefully, he's young enough to grow out of it.  There's obviously no hope for you.

I'm through wasting my time trying to convince you otherwise.  You just continue to live in your pitiful, hateful little world.  Hopefully your vile, baseless hatred will turn into a massive tumor that eats you alive.   Smooches....

I honestly don't care.

I don't pretend to understand queers.  It's not something I can wrap my head around on any more than an intellectual level.  It doesn't affect me in any way, so I just don't give a damn.

Srsly, that guy gives me the creeps.  He's got that gay accent, the total affectation bit and frankly, he's one of those over-exposed queens, along with Matt Lauers bf "Cujo" that give gay folks a bad name. Bad name in the sense that they are str8 stereotypes being reinforced.
Personally, I'm not into that nelly stuff, but it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round.  I also have known many a str8 guy that had more swish than bathtub water.  Seems dickman had a bad time with Pale in Phoenix....and yeah Headkicker, teh gay is contagious...once you had crack, you don't look back....
Not that I ever had anything else...I was born gay.

Granted, I haven't read the rest of the posts yet, but as a straight male I've gotta say that you're straight trippin'.  How can you be here on High Street for this long without realizing that gay people are pretty much people and the gay-i-tude is an attribute?  The existence of flamboyant characters at gay parades should be easily explainable in general, but we'll just ignore that for now because you've made a statement not about them, but about an entire class of people.  How many times has a gay person gotten in your face?  How many times have you even come across a publication that virtually "got in your face"?  The truth is that gay people have been a secret society for too long.  You don't want to have sex with a man?  No problem.  You don't want imagery and/or people acting out gay sex in public?  You'll find virtually no argument anywhere.

The idea that because there are a few events scheduled around the country once or twice a year that tend to bring out the flamboyant ones as a general fuck you to society and an expression of the fact that where there are so-called "natural laws" they shouldn't have to hide doesn't mean that they're forcing their sexuality on you.  Suck your thumb in the corner and think about it until you're ready to walk on the street and not size everyone else up in terms of their sexuality.  It really shouldn't matter to you much at all.

No-one has that much venom without reason.  He probably has quite a few friends that he doesn't even know are gay.

In this world, it takes a great deal of self-respect and assurance to come out and stand proud.  Does he really believe anyone would make a conscious choice to be gay?  The only choice we have is to come out and live our lives.  To do otherwise would only kill us, psychically as well as physically.

Go Taint!  Seriously, if you all didn't have gay pride parades and drag queen shows, my occasional jaunts downtown would leave a lot to be desired.  Some of your folk (cause I know you all aren't flamboyant DQ's) can be the most interesting people I've met.  Sometimes I laugh at, sometime I laugh with, but either way I'm laughin'.  If gays want to get married and risk suffering the consequences of a horridly financial and emotionally traumatic divorce, believe me I'm more than happy to share that hetero benefit.

I think the whole thing about not being able to visit your partner in the hospital or get married and share spousal benefits is just stupid and anal (hee hee).  I say wear your assless chaps, and do it in front of the courthouse.  Too many uptight people in this world.   I don't see the harm in giving 2 people of any sex or race the benefits of marriage if they are more than willing to risk the possibility of divorce.

I have no comments on kids with gay parents or straight parents for that matter, since I  do not like them nor do I choose to create them myself.  I think the world would be a better place if people would take a break from breeding here and there.  Keep environmental damages to a minimum, y'know?
