I love it when a political fairy-tale goes all pear shaped.
Brexiters sold the public the idea that the EU would come crawling on their knees to trade with them. At 67m people their population makes up 0.85% of the world population and their GDP of 3 Trillion USD pales next to the EU's $19T GDP. (while they were still part of the EU).
Britain means less to the EU than India or Brazil.
