I know. All the cats I've known were that way--and the cat in the pic is trying to offer comfort/assistance--but the caption coupled with the cat's cheerful expression still made me laugh.
Your perception of cat behaviour is impressive. Both of you. I guess you never complain when your cat turns it's back on you after you've been away for a few days.

Well I can't do anything about it now, or I'll have to turn in my testes at the door.

I've had a cat follow me from room to room, position himself in front of where I was sitting, and settle in with his back to me, after I returned from a long trip. When I left the room, he followed me--he did this all afternoon. It was as effective a communication of hurt feelings as tears.
I miss that cat.

Your hairball, you clean it up.
No oven-mitt-with-a-pulse has lived here in four years when the upstairs mouser meowed at my door to say goodbye. Smartest critter I've known. Adopted me, swallowed my wallet in vet bills whole, decamped with upstairs tenant and broke my heart. There's a country western song there somewhere.
Pet attachments are intense for such a short lifecycle, something I didn't grasp as a farm kid, where spring barn kitty litters were burlap sack disposed in the creek, with rocks for ballast.

I have met a surprisingly large number of cats who like to be spanked.
Hell, I don't understand my own perversions.

No, not a theremin. A receiver, with a speaker, but not a theremin.

The machine translation of the Youtube title is basically "Theremin to play enthusiastically!", so I'd guess it is some kind of theremin.

They can call it what they like, but that is not a Theremin.
2 cents.

Yeah, I have a feeling it's a combination of turning the sensitivity all the way down and a really ugly-sounding instrument.

Not to mention, ugly-looking. My God, the thing's a throwback to the days when "Made in Japan" meant "poorly-executed plastic trash."
