Fair enough to point out the empty promises, but going to take more than an appeal to the status quo
Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen said President Donald Trump’s inaugural address on Monday “painted a dystopian picture of America,” accusing the newly sworn in president of not issuing any policy solutions in his speech.
“I thought President Trump painted a dystopian picture of America, chock full of misrepresentations, one that most Americans will not recognize, and then set him up to be the great savior,” he told CNN’s Manu Raju.
He continued: “We obviously have challenges, we have problems. He did not put forward prescriptions to fix them. You’re not going to be able to address the issue rising prices by piling broad-based tariffs on the American people, and certainly we should all make government more efficient, but taking a federal civil service based on merit and transforming it into a system based on political cronyism will not make the government more efficient. It will make it more corrupt.”

Fuck the Democrats too! Time to purge the limousine liberals, and in fact, liberalism all together. I don't completely agree with the Progressive movement but it's the best we got. And fuck our one party system masquerading as two parties. With the oligarchs controlling the media they'll never change it because nobody will demand that they do.

The Crypto-Coin Prez. Time to pick up some Melania coin in the dip.
“This may represent the single worst conflict of interest in the modern history of the presidency,” Norman Eisen, a former ethics adviser in the Obama administration, told the Washington Post. Trump has “the most profound conflict of interest” in the crypto space, he added, citing the fact he was “seeking to gain” and regulate the industry.
The long and windy silk road to Trump's desk.
Trump said he had called Ulbricht’s mother to tell her he would pardon her son “in honor of her and the Libertarian Movement, which supported me so strongly”.
“The scum that worked to convict him were some of the same lunatics who were involved in the modern day weaponization of government against me. He was given two life sentences, plus 40 years. Ridiculous,” the president said in a Truth Social post.
His lawyer, Joshua Dratel, in an email said he was “extremely gratified that an injustice has been corrected”. He said the pardon ensured Ulbricht “can have a life ahead of him to be the productive person he could have been all these years”.
The decision comes as Trump’s administration is expected to significantly reverse course on what had been a crackdown by regulators on the cryptocurrency sector during Joe Biden’s tenure.
Trump has pledged to transform the US into the crypto capital of the world, taking an altogether looser approach to regulation of digital currencies. Leading cryptocurrencies including bitcoin have surged in value since his election victory last November.

Typical, pardon the dealer making all the money but not the people in jail for using drugs. I've said it before, Donnie has truly "drained the swamp" as he promised, just not the way he meant. All the illusions are gone now, if there ever were any to begin with; these people are dangerous and should be eliminated. All of them. The humane way would be to move them all to Nevada and put a wall around the state (I couldn't help myself) so they can't leave and start treating them like Donnie treats Puerto Rico, or do it the traditional way.

Crypto is nothing more than a money laundering scheme for these oligarch fucks at this point. But because it is crypto and technology the average rube cannot understand it. Being labeled as meme coins only allows them to fleece more and more idiots while the bribes and laundering go on without delay.

Bwhahahaha!
Fat chance any of these were on Musk's agenda. But funny nevertheless.
Warren sends Musk 30 ideas for DOGE to cut government spending
The senator also proposed that Medicare should negotiate drug prices and crack down on pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs).
“DOGE should support Congressional efforts to crack down on PBMs and see that the FTC follows through with this lawsuit to save the federal government and taxpayers billions of dollars,” Warren wrote, referring to the lawsuits the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed in September last year against three giant PBMs.
the “federal government spends trillions of dollars on wasteful spending is correct. And if you are serious about working together in good faith to cut government spending — in a way that does not harm the middle class — I have proposals for your consideration.”
Warren’s prime proposal when it comes to slashing spending is renegotiating DOD contracts, arguing contractors often price-gouge the department... She then recommended that Congress pass the bipartisan “Stop Price Gouging the Military Act to close loopholes in acquisition laws that make it nearly impossible for DOD to obtain the data they need to negotiate fair deals.”
