Cripes.  I saw the bottle brush come out and I thought she was going to finish the job in Junior's snot locker.

I had a Belgian friend whose parents swore by this plant-watering kettle-type thing that swooshed water into their nasal cavities, to keep those offending sinuses free of mucus and other debris (lawdz kno whut they been storin' up there inna first place). It used salt water, for the most part, and seemed primarily harmless.

Vacuuming your toddler's snot, on the other hand, doesn't really seem to do a whole lot (other than make more work for mother). From what I understand, children are supposed to be globby, drippy, oozing puddles of filth. "Sanitizing" them doesn't really do much for the immune system.
