There seems to be a correlation.
Taint, pale, et al... were you a Republican as a child? Were you ever exposed to Republicans?
It's a radical theory, but gayism may not be linked to genetic factors. It may be entirely due to contact with Republicans.

Anecdotal correlations are among the weakest in the sciences. I was a lazy Reformed Jew. I had a bar mitzvah, everybody in the family--except maternal-side grandpa, who voted for Reagan twice--voted Dem. A few cousins were Naderites back when it had a shred of cool.
Just a bit of insight into le demimonde homosexuel: when you realize--usually as a child, at or about puberty--that you're not straight, most of the stuff you've taken for granted up until that moment tends to go right out the window. Religion, politics, role models, lust objects, etc. This doesn't result in an overt change of political leanings, because you're usually still spewing the same rhetoric as your parents just to survive the dinner table. For my own, it's taken nearly four decades to create my own political palette. It's not so much the colors on it as the fact that I've made it for myself that defines me as anti-Republican. They prefer a color-by-numbers.

Pale, I was attempting to be clever, not Dr. Phil.

Fail on both. I was feeling disclosure-ific.

Isn't this the guy who pushed through anti sex toy legislation? We all take for granted that politicians are hypocrites but this guy really went over the edge with the frothing at the mouth.
Editorial letter by Troy King in UA's paper while he was in Law school-
The time has come for the majority to rise from its figurative slumber. The picture on the front page of Monday's issue of The Crimson White looked like the front page of Sodom and Gomorrah News the day before those cities were destroyed. I and a majority of the students were appalled not that these students would pose for this picture, for we have seen that the homosexuals in America will do anything to grab a headline but rather I am furious that this paper would sacrifice its journalistic integrity for a tabloid-esque reporting! It is indeed sad that America has fallen to the point where she will condone any type of deviant, immoral activity in which a group desires to participate. However, perhaps even more compelling evidence of the perversion of America is evidenced not only by the fact that this story was published in the newspaper but rather that it was graphically depicted on the front page.
The existence of the Gay/Lesbian alliance on this campus is an affront to the state of Alabama, its citizenry, this diversity and its students. However, it is also an outrage to compel those students with both moral and religious objections to the activities and ideas espoused by this organization to contribute money, via student fees, to subsidize these activities.
One has but to look at the forces which the controversy has united--from the American Civil Liberties Union to the National Organization of Women to the Queer Nation just to name a few--to clearly see how corrupt a cause this truly is.
The argument can often be heard that what goes on in the bedroom is private. However, it is flawed reasoning to attempt to justify the gay movement in America today on this basis, for they have taken sex from the confines of the bedroom into the streets, the evening news, and now even the front page of the newspaper.

Since we're in full disclosure mode here, I may as well own up: I'm a bleeding heart liberal from Day One. My family is also comprised of bleeding heart liberals. In fact, my father and I got into an argument after he told me he'd voted for Nader in 2000.
During my late teens, however, I had sex with a lot of frat boys if that helps at all.

To be perfectly honest, I don't mind most liberals that much.... Whether or not I agree with them on all issues I can generally see their point of view and understand why they feel the way they do.... I really have deep hatred for this new breed of Birckenstock wearin', Obama votin' liberal though... What a bunch of pretentious pricks..... Just the other day I stopped by the Ye Olde Starbuck's coffee for my morning black coffee and glazed donut..... I knew I was gonna leave pissed because parked outside of the place were four Toyota Prius three of which had Obama 08 stickers on them.... Sure enough the Starbucks was full of annoying fucktards ordering overly complicated coffee drinks (lattes I'm sure) and wearin' their goofy lookin' horn rimmed glasses..... One young woman gussied up in the latest hipster attire was reading a book which I'm sure was a crappy read but was somehow marketed as having some kind of social relevance.... Another man was sitting at a table with his Apple computer seeing to it that he was becoming an informed person on the latest issues.... This class of liberal tends to give themselves a certain self-proclaimed superiority, but I don't see it, to me they look like a bunch of pussies......... I really haven't paid the least bit of attention to the campaign this year so I don't know what any of the candidates really stand for.... All I know is that if Obama wins these twerps win and I don't want that.........

Just judging by the posting I don't think any of our current crop of self-outed High-Streeters is deviant enough to be the militant anti-gay homos. Somehow I always picture that guy from the Frighteners when he shows all of the scars from his various dealings with the occult.

I'm confused. Do you wax nostalgic for the old breed of Birckenstock wearin', Carter votin' liberal?

Dirck and I are in lockstep. I prefer Radicals, Dopers and Ne'er do wells and Artist. Give me an Art Babe, or an IWW cutey anytime, thanks.
I mean, a woman who will be right there with you in a street fight (like my wife)... but a good example would be Saint Bernadine....

I went on a couple of dates with a Northern California style liberal about a year ago, it didn't work out worth a damn, but she was a really fun person.... She didn't watch TV, barely used the internet, read constantly, liked to travel and visit museums.... I didn't agree with her political philosophies very much but I think it would be great if more people adopted her lifestyle.... It was just a breath of fresh air getting to know a person who didn't wholeheartedly accept the typical sedentary American way of life....

And what's wrong with a sedentary lifestyle??? I personally don't see a problem with our current stock of ladies.
